Today was our very first day. We didn't really know what to expect so it was super exiting in both a good and a bad way. The thing which made "the bad way" go away was the fact that Petra came with us. She's our contactperson and offered to go with us since we basically knew nothing about where we had to go and what we could expect, also we don't speak any Spanish and Petra does. We arrived at the school and Petra asked around, straight away everyone was very enthousiastic like "Helloooo I'm "....", you are Anne and "Iggne" from the Netherlands no?" Everyone was super kind and helpful. Petra left us to it and Mr Romero showed us around the school. He also told us we would be following the same timetabel as Anna, a 26 year old intern from Camebridge who tutors everyone in English at the school, children as well as parents and teachers. We met Anna, she is simply amazing, she came to Spain to just teach a little and relax a bit. The teachers spoke English pretty badly but that didn't mattet at all, they put in all of their best efforts to make themselves understandable to us and they had Anna standing next to them to help them with their speech and to correct them, which the appreciate a lot. All day we walked along from Enlish class to English class and from PE class to PE class. Both the teachers and the children are awesome people and are super curious and interested in us. Our internship is great and we're having a lovely time. I would't rather be anywhere but here at the moment!
